In the 1950’s Richard Allan (1933 to 1999) purchased the Jacqmar label, although producing scarves under his own name he also continued the Jacqmar range.  His designs were influenced by modernist abstract works by Picasso and Gris.  This silk scarf certainly has bold pattern in a fabulous colour combo of purple and purply/blue with winter white accents.   Measures 74cm.
