The Lisner and Company was founded in New York City in 1904. Originally they imported pieces from Europe, however in the 1930’s they began distributing US made jewellery using the Lisner trademark.  In the 1950’s they were producing their own lines, which were distinctive in their design and use of colour and materials, such as moulded thermo plastics.  This demi parure is is very striking.  The textured gold tone bow brooch has been set with large beautiful green crystals.  The matching clip earrings look a bit like a hoop when they are on.  The brooch measures 7.5x4.5, the clip earrings measure 1.5x2.5cm
