The Florenza line was founded by Dan Kasoff in the late 1930’s early 1940's in New York City. They drew inspiration from the designs of the Victorian and Renaissance Period. In addition to producing jewellery under the Florins label they also created pieces for other companies such as Weiss, Kramer and Hattie Carnegie. The Company finally ceased operation in 1981. This is so different from the other pieces of Florenza that I have seen. The gold tone metal has been set with glass leaves in pale yellow and copper. Each leaf has a ribbon at the bottom, which has been set with tiny clear stones. The clip earrings are the same size as the leaves on the necklace. The necklace measures 43cm but because of the hook fitting it can be worn shorter, 1.5cm wide. The clip earrings measures 3x1.5cm
