This little necklace has proved quite difficult to date but the consensus seems to be between the 1930’s and the 1950’s.  Across the front there are seven “rosettes” which have a Toledo wear decoration.  This type of decoration was used in the making of Swords in Toledo in Spain in the later half of the fifteenth century.  In the centre there is a white faux pearl.  Each “rosette” supports a Toledo wear drop with a white faux pearl.  At each end of the drops there are four S shaped links, again with a subtle Toldeo wear decoration.  The necklace measures approx. 45cm, the front decorative section measures 20.5x2.3cm
