This stunning bag is by Waldy who was a British Company, who supplied well designed, and made, leather bags for most of the crowned heads of Europe in the 1950’s including the Queen and the Queen Mother. They have even been described as “Prim and Proper”, but this black velvet evening is anything but!!!! The rich bonze satin has been overlaid with beautiful Guipure lace in black. The clasp is a lovely golden flower with a faux pearl centre. The inside is lined with an oyster coloured satin. It looks as if this bag has never been used. The measures approx. 20x16x4cm
