This such a fun evening bag which has been covered entirely with beads which I have heard called scarabee, because they resemble the colours on scarab beetles. Other names are carnival glass or oil slick beads. All these names are very descriptive and true to the colouring. The beads are dark with an aurora borealis coating which indeed looks like oil on water. The bag has patterned silver tone frame and chain handle. The inside is lined with blue grosgrain with a single side pocket. The bag measures approx. 21x11.5x2.5cm (at the highest/widest points).
