This is a fabulous bag from the Art Deco period. They call the finish on the leather as elephant hide, it is a good robust textured leather, which I think is black. The bag is lined with grey faux suede. The clasp is good and tight, just push the knobs into the centre and the clasp is released. It has it’s original little mirror. The pictures have been lightened so that you can see the detail. Measures 31x13x4cm.
