Ralph Polcini emigrated from Italy to the USA and established to the Polcini Company in 1911. However in 1949, the name was changed to Leading Jewellery Manufacturing Company, short for Ledo. They produced the highest quality pieces mainly in the Art Deco style using the highest quality stones to imitate fine jewellery. Ralph Polcini died in the 60’s when his son Damon took over the Company and changed the name to Polcini The company ceased operations in 1980. Their jewellery is highly collectible and rare to find. I think it would be difficult for anyone to tell whether these earrings are set with diamonds or crystals, they catch the light and sparkle. The earrings have been rhodium plated and set with small clear stones. Clip fittings. Measures 5.5x1cm. The photographs do not do these earrings justice.
