item sosy1 price £125 circa - Victorian Victorian paste jewellery is becoming exceedingly hard to find, so when I happened across this charming little fellow I had to have him!!! A beautiful open work butterfly is set with mainly clear paste stones, with peridot coloured stones highlighting his wings. The eyes are depicted by two fuschia coloured stones. The stones are claw set in an antiqued brass setting. Measures 4.5cm. One or two of the stones have dulled slightly with age, but as you can see, there is still plenty of sparkle.
