In the 1960’s everyone’s thoughts turned star bound, it was the age of space travel and the designs became inspired buy the space crafts etc. This brooch would be known as a Sputnik design. It is three dimensional and some of the golden spikes have been tipped with crystals in dark and pale green combined with topaz colours. The brooch has a bale on it, so it can be worn as a necklace. It is an extremely eye-catching piece. Measures approx. 5.2cm, by approx. 2.5 cm deep.
