The Sarah Coventry Company was founded in 1949, the jewellery was mainly sold through house parties.  The Company ceased production in 1984.  This brooch reminds me of the day of the triffids for some reason. In the centre of the gold tone foliage there are some “stamens”, these look as if they have been painted however when held up to the light they actually look like amber, it is a really clever effect. Measures approx 4.7cm
