Hobe was founded in Paris in 1887 by Jacques Hobe. His concept was to use fine jewellery techniques and non-precious materials to create jewellery for the middle class as well as for the wealthy. The firm was moved to America by his son William, in 1915.  Hobe jewellery was popular not only with everyday customers, but also with the Hollywood stars, his first big client was Flo Ziegfeld, of the Ziegfeld Follies. This is as cute as can be!!! A little chick emerging from it’s golden egg. The little chick has been set with white faux pearls with a single diamante eye. Measures 4.9x2.8cm
