Although this dramatic brooch is unsigned I am attributing it to DeLizza and Elster.  The reason being, the japanned finish, the use of multiple cuts of stones, unfoiled open-back settings in a layered design are all known attributes of D&E jewellery.  In this case the brooch has been shaped in a leaf design and set with light smokey coloured stones, with three lovely elongated marquis stones.  They have all been claw set in a japanned (black) metal frame.  Measures 7.1x3.5cm
