This is a stunning brooch which, I believe was made during the inter war years. At this time, as travel was coming en vogue, it was common to have copies of real pieces made so that they could be taken on holiday. This flower brooch is stunning and has been very well executed in sterling silver, not sure about the type of flower though. There are many pictures of actresses from the 30/40’s wearing a brooch such as this on their outfits. There is also a makers mark on the piece, but sadly, I have not managed to find out who it might be. Measures approx. 6x4.5cm
