Beaded jewellery made using wire wrapping techniques go back thousands of years, indeed there are some examples in the British Museum dating back to approximately 2000BC.  This technique is not so popular now a days as they have to be hand made rather than machine finished.  This coil bracelet has been strung with French Jet  and, what appears to be, wooden beads. As it simply winds around the wrist it will fit most sizes.  The smooth wooden beads measures approx. 1cm
