Although this demi parure is unsigned I am sure that it is by DeMario of New York, who founded his Company in 1945.  The pieces made by him are reminiscent of those created by Miriam Haskell, using intricately hand wired clasps and centrepieces to decorate necklaces of glass beads and artificial pearls. The company went out of production in the 1960's.  This set is made of beautiful corn flower blue glass beads with a centrepiece of gold tone metal.  The centrepiece is in the shape of a leaf which has been decorated with intricately wired glass beads into little flowers.  The clip earrings have the same intricate wired flowers.  The necklace has recently been restrung.  Measures approx. 37cm, the centrepiece measures 2.8x5cm.  The clip earrings measures approx. 2.9x3cm
