Art Deco Bracelet
The Art Deco period was a period of style and sophistication. Long white evening gloves were adorned with a selection of gem set cocktail bracelets. Of course, not everyone could afford the real thing so the costume jewellery makers went into over drive. I suspect that this bracelet was made in Czechoslovakia for the European market. This is a beautiful rhodium plated bracelet which has been set with round and baguette cut clear stones. The bracelet has a safety chain attached. I would point out that 2 of the stones have darkened with age but the others still have plenty of sparkle. Measures approx. 18x1.5cm I think the safety chain has been added at a later date as the plating on the reverse has been damaged very slightly with the soulder work.
